Justin Berelc | Founder/Managing Partner

Education
Justin Berelc earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law.

Leadership, Membership, and Honors
Justin is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, and the Northern Circuit Bar Association. He is the past president of the Northern Circuit Bar Association. As well as being a member of the State Bar of Georgia and licensed to practice in all Superior Courts in Georgia, Justin is also licensed to practice in Federal Court for the Middle District of Georgia and the Northern District of Georgia.
Family
Justin is also very involved in the community. He is a member of the Hart Chamber of Commerce, Lavonia Chamber of Commerce and Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. He is also actively involved in church activities and serves as a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Hartwell.

George T. Ligon II | Of Counsel
Attorney
Background
In February of 2020, Mr. George T. Ligon II, esq., joined Berelc Law Office as Of Counsel. George previously clerked for Berelc Law Office during his second year at The University of Georgia School of Law. He returned to the firm after spending over 2 years with a boutique elder law firm in Atlanta where he worked as the primary trust drafter while a law clerk, and subsequently as the senior associate for estate planning and asset protection.

George’s practice focuses on estate planning, complex trusts, asset protection strategies for small business owners, and family farm succession planning.
​
Outside of his Of Counsel work, George also practices in the area of auction law. He works as a speaker and writer to auctioneers and farmers on a variety of issues, as well as working as a speechwriter for politicians and corporate executives.

Education
George T. Ligon II received an undergraduate degree from Wofford College, a Master of Science in International Relations at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.

Family
When not assisting his clients, George enjoys fly fishing and spending time with his wife, Evelyn, and their dog, Maisie.
